Holy Sale!

24 May

The UK’s paragon of amazingly tailored comfort chic, All Saints, is having an unheard of sale– 25% off SITE WIDE(!),  and I simply couldn’t keep it to myself– well, that is until I made haste of purchasing some early summer staples.  And now that I have secured them, it’s time to share!

Luna Top- Was $80, now $59

Caio bella, Luna!  How do I love thee?  Let me count the ways… 1. Your figure flattering lines  2.  Your playfully slightly plump collar  3.  Your almost daringly low neckline; and 4. Your super soft shoud-be-vintage light cotton fabric.  Here is what she looks like on, when I should have bought her dinner and taken her home in Miami.

Luna di Trezchic

Luna is worn best with black skinnies and strappy, chunky, stacked-heel platform sandals- on the organic side.  Or, dress her up with a frilly black tiered mini, gladiator sandals, and a cascade of varying metallics.

And, being an admited “asia-phile”, I just couldn’t pass up this cute little number– both for its name and the wonderfully boho-70s-esque floral pattern.

Tokyo Ditzy Dress- Was $137, now $103

Just look at that bevy beautifully draped, flowing fabric and tell me is doesn’t make you a little ditzy?  Pair it with stacks of skinny Indian bangles and some combat boots and you’re good to go scout out The Sartorialist in NYC for an impromptu photo shoot!

Before I say pip-pip-cherrio, this sale is TODAY ONLY and you must go through the All Saints UK site— the front page will say “25% off Bank Holiday Promotion” and all prices will be in GBP.   Even with the semi-insanely-high shipping rate to the US (GBP 20!), it’s still cheaper than paying full price on the site made for us Westerners, who *don’t* get the sale…

Have at it lads and lasses ❤

Queen of my Heart

20 May

Ok, so my very first post on a newly birthed blog conceived in vintage love, and I choose to write about…. brand spankin’ new chairs.  But come on, just take one gander at these plastic fantastic creations and you’ll see why I simply couldn’t help myself:

The Queen Wears Black

Made by  Design of Love- Italy  (something this beautiful simply could NOT have been produced in the US), these baroque babies are made of  100% recycled, single-mold injectioned polyethylene (no seams!).  This makes your potential Alice-in-Wonderchair tough enough to brave the outdoor elements, or that totally killer party you throw just to show off this stunner.   Oh, and did I mention that it’s available in pink?

I just died and went to heaven in a chair made of Tarina Tarantino's hair.

I am having a seriously difficult time deciding between the black or the pink…. or the additional 10 colors for that matter.  So fun!  So Marie Antoinette!  And somewhat macabre in the best possible, yet unexpected way given the medium.  The Queen of Love is set to retail for about $750 (inclusive of shipping) and will soon be available at the aptly named, all that is holy in the world of interiors,  Hipster Home

A bit pricey you say?  True.  But can you really put a monetary tag on feeling like royalty day in and day out?  Why not take a seat, relax, and contemplate how badly you want to snap this up before that rook down the street steals your queen ❤
